A wonderful, hidden gem, surrounded by forest and farm land. They're not used to having American's nor English staying, which added to the charm and tranquility. The rooms in the hunting lodge were beautiful and peaceful. The food was exceptional, we ate all all three restaurants. The breakfast was amazing, best bread ever! The Spa was probably the best spa I've ever visited. The treatments were excellent and reasonably priced. Tina is an outstanding masseuse I thought the overall price was reasonable for the services and amenities.

The helpfulness and friendliness of the staff, the treats offered, the cleanliness and organization of the pool and spa, the cleanliness and stunning appearance of the castle section where we stayed, and the dinner — in a word, it was a flawless place. We had a lovely stay at Friedrichsruhe. From the first moment, our experience was outstanding. We got a room upgrade to a beautiful room in the "Schloss". The breakfast was delicious, and the staff was so friendly and helpful, The spa is stunning, and one of our highlights was we got to drive the AMG EQS from the hotel. The property is very well maintained and does not look old, despite the more "classic" feel. We totally recommend the hotel. It's perfect for a retreat in the german countryside.

We really loved the calm and friendly atmosphere. Staff is so so kind! The food is very nice too. Spa bistro is great: healthy options, but some nice cakes too. The breakfast truly is amazing, everything is fresh and cooked perfectly. We loved the fruit options, and very much enjoyed the crepes and waffles. Pools are great, loved the heated outdoor pool, our son wanted to stay all day in the spa area! He was happy with his comfy bathrobe. We felt very at home. The room was very comfortable too. We recommend this hotel for those looking for quality and peace.
